TopSpec TopChop Lite — Low-Calorie, Molasses-Free Chop for Good-Doers & Laminitis-Prone Horses

🌱 Chopped Alfalfa & Oat Straw • Molasses-Free • Non-Heating Fibre Feed

TopSpec TopChop Lite is a natural chopped forage product made from a blend of British alfalfa and oat straw, lightly dressed with cold-pressed linseed or soya oil and real mint for palatability.
Designed for horses and ponies that are “good doers”, prone to gaining weight, or at risk of laminitis, it offers a forage alternative with exceptionally low sugar and starch levels
This product can be used as a partial or full hay replacer, making it ideal for those who require calorie-controlled fibre feed in a dust-extracted, natural format.

Key Benefits

  • ✅ Fibre-rich, chopped alfalfa and oat straw mixture — soft texture for easier chewing

  • ✅ No added molasses or sugar coating – supports weight control and metabolic-safe feeding

  • ✅ Exceptionally low starch and sugar (“non-heating”) – ideal for laminitis-prone horses or those needing low-calorie diets

  • ✅ Dust-extracted, minimal additives/preservatives — cleaner feeding for sensitive horses

  • ✅ Can replace hay or haylage fully or partially — great for good-doers, restricted turnout or stable-kept horses
