TopSpec TopChop Alfalfa is a chopped alfalfa feed made from top-quality British alfalfa, lightly dressed with cold-pressed linseed oil and real mint to improve palatability and reduce ‘fly-away’ fibres. 
With no added molasses or sugar coating, it provides a nutrient-rich, digestible forage alternative that is ideal for horses working, needing to gain weight, breeding stock and youngstock. 
Approved by TopSpec’s nutritionists, this formula is suitable for all horses and ponies except those requiring explicit weight-loss diets (for which TopChop Lite or TopChop Zero may be more appropriate).

• Feed according to forage allowance or as part of a forage programme—can replace hay or haylage when desired

• Ideal for:

  • Working horses & performance applications

  • Broodmares and youngstock needing high-quality protein & calcium

  • Horses needing condition gain or digestible forage alternative

• Not recommended as the sole feed for horses/ponies that need to lose weight — in those cases, TopChop Lite or TopChop Zero are advised.
