TopSpec High Fibre Mash is a high-fibre, cereal-grain-free mash designed for horses and ponies that maintain a healthy weight on forage alone but still deserve a feed, or need a palatable low-calorie carrier for supplements and medication. 
It’s “non-heating” thanks to its low sugar and starch content, and it’s quick-soak (just 5 minutes) to offer ease of feeding and aid hydration.

Typical ingredients include soya hulls (GM), high-fibre oat by-product, beet pulp (un-molassed), linseed expeller, wheat-bran, grass, micronised flaked peas, and a mineral premix (including calcium, sodium, magnesium oxide, limestone) to support dilute feeding without added vitamins/trace elements. 

🪣 Feeding & Usage Guide

• Soak in cool or warm water for 5 minutes with a ratio of 1 part dry mash : 2 parts water (this results in a wet mash supplying ~3.5 MJ/kg) as recommended by TopSpec nutritionists. 

• Ideal for:

  • Good-doer horses/ponies that don’t need conditioning feed

  • Horses that prefer soft-feed texture or struggle with long-stem forage

  • Use as a carrier feed for supplementation or medication
