Spillers Cool Mix™ is designed to provide a carefully balanced energy diet for horses and ponies with low to medium energy requirements. It features an open-textured combination of flaked cereals (barley, maize, peas), cereal fibres and rapeseed oil. 

With a digestible energy of 9.8 MJ/kg and modest starch (20 %) and sugar (5 %) levels, it is ideal for animals needing health-supporting, stable feed without excess “hot” calories.

🪣 Feeding & Usage Guide

• For a 500kg horse in light work: feed around 3 kg per day, divided into at least two meals. 

• For a 600kg horse in light work: feed ~3.5 kg/day, divided. 

• Pair with good-quality forage offered ad-lib (or as per your feeding plan).

• Suitable for horses/ponies with moderate needs, those with calmer requirements, or where high-energy feeds are not appropriate.

• Always provide free access to fresh, clean water and monitor condition.

• Store in a cool, dry place and keep bag sealed when not in use.
