Simple System Calm Balance Plus is a specially formulated forage balancer designed to provide calming support for horses and ponies that are reactive, tense or spooky. It’s built on the forage-first ethos of Simple System and contains high-quality ingredients such as sainfoin, cooked full-fat linseed, stabilised dried yeast, seaweed meal, magnesium sulphate, and spearmint flavour.
With low sugar (<3%) and low starch (<5%), it’s ideal for horses needing calmness without heavy calorie loads.

🪣 Feeding & Usage Guide

• Introduce over a 7-day transition when moving onto the product. 

• Quick-soak: Use 2-2.5 parts water to 1 part feed if feeding as soaked mash. 

• Feeding rate: approx 100 g per 100 kg ideal bodyweight per day, divided between two feeds. Example: 500 kg horse = ~500 g/day. 

• Ideal for horses/ponies that are:

  • Reactive or anxious

  • Spooky or nervous in new environments

  • Needing calmer energy/feed regime

  • Suitable for long-term use or during periods of stress (travel, showing, changes)

  • Always ensure fresh, clean water and continue to provide appropriate forage/turnout.
