🌱 Low-calorie high-fibre maintenance feed — ideal for good doers, laminitis-prone horses & ponies
Short Overview
Dengie Hi-Fi Lite is a chopped fibre feed designed to provide a low-calorie, high-fibre alternative to traditional hay or haylage. Formulated with quality soft straw and nutrient-rich alfalfa, it’s perfect for horses and ponies in light work, easy-keepers, or those prone to laminitis and weight gain. Approved by The Laminitis Trust, it can be fed as a partial or total forage replacer.
✅ Key Benefits
– Low calorie (7.5 MJ/kg) — helps manage weight and maintain condition without excess energy.

– Low sugar (7%) and low starch (1.5%) — suitable for laminitis-prone or starch-sensitive equines.
– Approved by The Laminitis Trust — independently assessed for safe feeding in prone animals.
– Pellet-free short chop gives maximum chew time per scoop, aiding natural grazing behaviour.
– Can be used as a partial or complete hay replacer — especially useful when forage quality is poor.
